"I am a snowboarder in the Pacific Northwest. I spent my weekends sleeping in tents at the “local” ski resorts 2-3 hours away from home. I would do this in order to avoid the 4-6 hours of driving round trip. That's a lot of time to be sitting in a car, while you could be snowboarding in knee deep PNW Powder. Also, once I would get wet from the snow, Iwouldnt dry out until I was back home in the city. I realized my many hours of driving to and from the mountains were impacting my time actually snowboarding and I would have a much more enjoyable time if I was dry. So out of necessity, I got scrappy, became laser focused, and got to work."
